Call for Abstract for PSHWM | CE-WM 2019

The 4th Philippine Solid & Hazardous Waste Management Conference in conjunction with the1st International Conference on Circular Economy-based Waste Management (PSHWM | CE-WM 2019) will be conducted on 10-13 December 2019 in Tarlac City, Tarlac. This year’s theme is “Forging partnerships towards a sustainable future”.

PSHWM | CE-WM 2019 aims to encourage regional and international communication, collaboration and networking to advance knowledge and promote values, attitudes, commitment, and skills needed to address emerging issues on waste management and protection of the environment. It also hopes to strengthen the link between collaborative projects and applied researches to support and address the industry needs.

Specifically, to bring together Researchers, Scientists, Academe, Officials of Local Government Units (LGU), Professionals with interest in the environment, industry, NGOs, and civil society to disseminate research results, new ideas, and practical experiences in waste management, as well as, facilitate an open and constructive dialogue between multi-sector stakeholders towards resolving waste problems.

PSHWM | CE-WM 2019 focuses mainly on recent solid and hazardous waste technologies, on-going projects and innovative solutions particularly on valorization prospects, and products from wastes such as biofuels, composts, waste-to-energy, among others. Special attention will be given on upcycled materials, marine litter and the circular economy strategy applications on solid and hazardous waste management.

In line with this, the local organizing and scientific committees are now calling for abstracts for the aforementioned conference. Please see the uploaded brochure below:
